Fire lapping - is the polishing of bores by
shooting abrasive coated bullets at controlled velocities through them.
This technique has been used for at least a century to improve ordinary
production barrels, custom bench rest barrels and military barrels.
But the procedure has not been readily accepted by the general public. Due
