FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Process for creating quality AmmunitionAugust 4, 2004 --Wagner Accuswage re-manufacturing process;
· Cases are tumble cleaned (no ammonia based cleaning). · All cases are checked for any foreign objects, pressure tested, and inspected for any cracks or dents. · Used primers are removed, primer pockets are cleaned and reamed. · Cases are then loaded into automatic feed machines in preparation for loading. · Cases are checked once again for any obstructions and full length sized (handgun and pistol calibers). · The primer is inserted to S.A.A.M.I specifications. · A precise powder charge is added and tested for over and under charge. · A bullet is placed into the case mouth, seated to the proper depth and crimped. · Finally the entire shell is resized to ensure proper feeding into your firearm. · Loaded ammunition is collected in bins and sent to a cleaning / inspection station. · Once cleaned, each round is visually inspected and placed into a gauge block to ensure proper sizing. · Any ammunition that doesn’t pass the visual inspection or fit properly into the case gauge block is removed and recycled. · The next step is to package and label the ammunition. · Each pack of ammunition leaving the factory is labeled with a lot number, operator number, powder lot number and date of manufacture.
